Editing AVI files is easily done through VirtualDub but for .wmv, .flv and .mpg files the tools are less easily available. Very good command line tools are available for editing these files. Movica is a GUI for both these tools
Boggle is an interesting game and can be very educational. This version of the game allows you to play and compare your performance with the computer. The game uses the OSPD. You can lookup words based on online dictionaries and build wordlists.
